About PERADI

PERADI, short for Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia or Indonesian Advocates Association, is a professional organization for advocates in Indonesia. It was formed as an organizational home for advocates under Law Number 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates. Its work covers important professional functions, including Special Education for the Advocate Profession (PKPA), the Advocate Profession Examination, the appointment and dismissal of advocates, the preparation of professional ethics rules, and the establishment of Honorary Councils and Supervisory Commissions.

The organization also supervises the advocate profession. PERADI was declared on 21 December 2004 by eight advocate organizations: IKADIN, AAI, IPHI, HAPI, SPI, AKHI, HKHPM, and APSI.
