The Bengkayang Regency emblem consists of a five-cornered shield with a light-green background and eight dominant colors. Its documented elements include a sun, rice and cotton, a shield, a spear and tangkitn, a mountain, rice-field plots, and a ribbon bearing the inscription "KABUPATEN BENGKAYANG" and motto "Adil Ka' Talino".
- Sun: Its 17 rays symbolize 17 August, the date of Indonesia’s independence.
- Rice and cotton: The 45 grains of rice and eight cotton bolls symbolize clothing and food, and aspirations for prosperity and well-being. Their numbers refer to 1945 and the eighth month, August, when Indonesia declared independence.
- Ribbon folds and rice-field plots: The four red-and-white ribbon folds symbolize April. The number 1999 and the 10 rice-field plots refer to Law No. 10 of 1999, which established the regency and was enacted in April 1999.
- Shield, spear, and tangkitn: These represent the cultural heritage and customs of the local Dayak community; the spear and tangkitn handles symbolize resolve and chivalry.
- Mountain: It depicts the regency’s highland and hilly geography in West Kalimantan.
- Motto and colors: "Adil Ka' Talino" expresses guidance to act fairly, maintain harmony, and uphold service and humanity. Light and dark green symbolize fertility and hope; yellow and golden yellow symbolize maturity, dignity, and a golden age; red symbolizes courage; and white symbolizes purity and honesty.
The Bengkayang Regency emblem is regulated by Bengkayang Regency Regional Regulation No. 1 of 2000.
