Persib Bandung is a professional football club based in Bandung, Indonesia. Its full name is Persatuan Sepak Bola Indonesia Bandung, commonly abbreviated as Persib. The club currently competes in the Indonesia Super League and was established on 5 January 1919 under the name Bandoeng Inlandsche Voetbal Bond (BIVB).

Persib was among the Perserikatan clubs involved in forming the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI). The team is widely known by the nicknames Maung Bandung and Pangeran Biru, reflecting its longstanding identity within Indonesian football.
