East Asian Football Federation (EAFF) is an international governing body for association football in East Asia. Founded on 28 May 2002, it brings together 10 member associations, all connected to the Asian Football Confederation (AFC). Its membership includes the Northern Mariana Islands Football Association, whose association with the AFC was previously held at associate level before full membership was approved in December 2020. The Northern Mariana Islands national football team also held provisional EAFF membership from December 2006 until September 2008. In 2009, the Palau Football Association was being considered as a possible future member. EAFF represents football administration and cooperation across the East Asian region.
