The UEFA Conference League (UECL) is an annual football tournament organised by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for eligible European clubs. Established in 2021, it is the third tier of European men’s club football, below the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League. The competition was initially developed under the working title UEFA Europa League 2 before being named the UEFA Europa Conference League and later adopting its current name.

From the 2024–25 season, its group stage was replaced by a 36-team league phase. Clubs reach that phase through qualifying and play-off rounds or after elimination in the UEFA Europa League play-off round. The winner earns a place in the following season’s UEFA Europa League league phase, subject to the stated qualification exception. Roma won the inaugural final, while Crystal Palace are the current title holders.
