Lecce is an Italian football club based in the city of Lecce, Italy. Its official name is Unione Sportiva Lecce, and it competes in Serie A during the 2025–26 season. The club was founded on 15 March 1908 as Sporting Club Lecce and re-founded on 16 September 1927. It first reached Serie A in the 1985–86 season, with its best top-flight finish coming in ninth place in 1988–89.

The club has recorded 19 Serie A seasons and 29 Serie B seasons, reflecting its long-standing presence across the top two levels of Italian football. Its players and supporters are known as salentini, giallorossi, or lupi.
