Aceh besar Regency Emblem

The Aceh besar Regency emblem consists of a pentagonal form, a mosque dome, a book, Mount Seulawah and the sea, and a circle and ribbon bearing words.

• Pentagonal form: The five-sided shape symbolizes the philosophy of Pancasila.
• Mosque dome: The dome symbolizes the Islamic religious element that guides daily life in Aceh Besar.
• Book: The book symbolizes knowledge as a source, expressing that human work, creativity, and devotion to God should be grounded in knowledge.
• Mount Seulawah and sea: These features symbolize Aceh Besar’s geographic character and its great natural potential.
• Circle and ribbon: These elements carry the words “ACEH BESAR” and the regional motto.

The motto, “Putoh Ngon Pakat, Kuwat Ngon Meuseuraya”, conveys that decisions reached through deliberation and consensus, along with unity and mutual cooperation, are to be upheld. The Aceh besar Regency emblem carries this motto on its circle and ribbon.
