The Bogor Regency emblem consists of an equilateral triangular shield containing a Kujang, two mountain peaks, and river flows. Its documented elements include natural features associated with the regency in West Java, as well as lines, colors, and mottoes with stated meanings.

  • Kujang and its components: The Kujang includes Paku Jajar, a Harupat handle, and a white egg. The weapon symbolizes valor, steadfastness to Pajajaran tradition, historical ties, and purity of life.
  • Mountains and rivers: The two peaks represent Mount Salak and Mount Pangrango, while the two river flows represent the Ciliwung and Cisadane rivers. These features represent regional boundaries, lofty aspirations, and the area's fertility.
  • Three lines: The shield's three lines represent faith, knowledge, and good deeds.
  • Colors: Gold symbolizes glory, green fertility, and blue beauty. Black and white represent truth opposing falsehood.
  • Mottoes: “Tegar Beriman” is accompanied by the words Tertib, Segar, Bersih, Indah, Mandiri, Aman, and Nyaman: order, freshness, cleanliness, beauty, independence, safety, and comfort. “Prayoga Tohaga Sayaga” refers to being resilient and ready, while “Kuta Udaya Wangsa” refers to a center for the revival of development.

The Bogor Regency emblem is regulated by Regional Regulation No. 2 of 1995. The regulation provides the legal basis for the emblem, whose motto “Tegar Beriman” is associated with the listed principles of order, freshness, cleanliness, beauty, independence, safety, and comfort.
