Brentford Football Club is a professional football club based in Brentford, London, England. Founded in 1889 and nicknamed “The Bees”, the club currently competes in the Premier League, the top tier of English football.

Brentford entered the London League in 1896 and was elected to the Football League in 1920. Its highest league finish came in the 1935–36 season, when it placed fifth in the First Division. After a long period across England’s lower divisions, the club returned to the highest level by winning the 2021 Championship final. The team has established rivalries with fellow West London clubs Fulham and Queens Park Rangers and is affiliated with Brentford Women.
