Stade Brestois 29 is a French professional football club based in Brest, France. Commonly known as Stade Brestois, the club was founded in 1950 following the merger of five local patronages, including Armoricaine de Brest, established in 1903. It currently competes in Ligue 1, France’s top football division, after returning to the top flight during the 2018–19 season.

The club progressed through France’s football structure, reaching the Championnat de France Amateur in 1958, Division 2 in 1970, and Division 1 in 1979. In the 2023–24 Ligue 1 season, it achieved a third-place finish and qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Champions League, its first appearance in a European competition.
