LOSC Lille is a French professional football club based in Lille, France. Its full name is Lille Olympique Sporting Club, and it is commonly abbreviated as LOSC. The club currently competes in Ligue 1, France’s top division, and the UEFA Europa League (UEL). Founded in 1944 through the merger of Olympique Lillois and SC Fives, it is known by the nickname Les Dogues, meaning “The Mastiffs” in English.

Lille has a strong tradition of developing young players through its academy and has represented France in major European competitions, including the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League. The club also maintains a long-standing regional rivalry with nearby Lens.
