Deportivo de La Coruña, officially Real Club Deportivo de A Coruña and also known as RC Deportivo, is a Spanish professional football club based in A Coruña, Galicia. It currently competes in La Liga, the top tier of Spanish football, and was founded in 1906 as Club Deportivo de la Sala Calvet. The club has been a long-standing name in Spanish football and is commonly referred to as Deportivo.

The Blue and Whites have spent much of their history among Spain’s leading sides, including a strong run in La Liga from 1992 to 2010. They have also taken part in European competition, including five consecutive UEFA Champions League seasons from 2000–01 to 2004–05. Their traditional home colours are blue and white stripes with blue shorts and socks, and their rivalry with Celta Vigo is known as the Galician derby.
