Levante UD, officially Levante Unión Deportiva, S.A.D., is a Spanish professional football club based in Valencia, Spain. The club competes in La Liga, the top flight of Spanish football, and plays its home matches in the 2025–26 season at Ciutat de València Stadium. Founded on 6 September 1909, Levante first appeared as Levante Football Club on 9 September 1909 and is the oldest football club in the city of Valencia.

The club’s early history is closely tied to Valencia’s port area and working-class neighbourhoods. Levante won its first trophy, the Valencian Championship, in 1928, and later reached the semi-finals of the Spanish Cup after victories over Valencia and Barcelona in 1935. It is also associated with the eastern Spanish region that gave the club its name.
